Positioned to take full advantage of its prime bay and harbour outlook, this home was thoughtfully designed to maximise views through every aspect of its layout—particularly within the glazing elements. The goal was to create uninterrupted sightlines and a strong connection between the indoor living spaces and the surrounding natural environment. By prioritising openness and transparency, the design allows the landscape to become a central feature of the home.
A key element in achieving this outcome was the use of wide-span, top-hung sliding doors. These doors have been expertly engineered to retract seamlessly into concealed wall cavities, eliminating visual barriers and creating a completely open transition between interior and exterior areas. This innovative solution allows the living spaces to flow effortlessly onto outdoor entertaining zones, enhancing both functionality and lifestyle appeal. Whether the doors are open or closed, the expansive glass panels ensure that natural light floods the interior while maintaining uninterrupted views of the bay and harbour from multiple vantage points.
In addition to the external glazing, frameless glass staircases were incorporated within the home’s interior to further enhance the sense of space and modern design. The use of frameless glass creates a clean, minimalist aesthetic while allowing light to move freely throughout the home. These staircases serve as both a functional element and a sophisticated architectural feature, complementing the overall design vision.
